Contrary to our name, you do NOT have to give in order to take from the storefront. Anyone in the WashU community is able to come in and take as much or as little as they want. We do, however, encourage donations, but it is not expected!

Did you know that alpacas are THE most eco-friendly/sustainable animals? They don’t leave a large environmental impact on the land and are less harmful to the earth than other species of domesticated livestock. They also produce a fantastic renewable resource: fiber! (Golden Touch Naturals, 2020)

Yes, you can. When donating to a 501(c)(3) like SWAP, you are able to get a tax deduction. The purpose of charitable tax reductions is to reduce your taxable income and your tax bill. Click here to fill out the form after donating.
