The Trading Post
A place where "free for all" exists ...
The Trading Post, first opened in 2012, is a student-run reuse and exchange store where members of the Wash U community can both donate and take items for free. The Trading Post is an extension of SWAP and serves as a physical location where the donation of reusables, including books, clothing, dorm items, office supplies, electronics, furnishings and more occurs throughout the academic school year.
Making a donation...
is as easy as dropping off items in the donation bins outside of our storefront or bringing them inside during our storefront hours.

Free for all, all for free...
Everything is always free in our storefront. This is made possible by the profits we earn during our annual, back-to-school, Swamp Sale which pays for storefront upkeep throughout the school year.
Open hours Mon-Fri 4-6pm
During the semester the Trading Post is open from 4:00-6:00pm Monday- Friday. Unfortunately we are typically closed during the summer and winter break, but in past years have opened during these periods for limited hours. Direct Message us @swapstl or email us at swapstl@gmail.com for more information.
Location
We are located on the South 40 at the corner of the Gregg storefronts and near the clocktower.
