SWAP & WUpcycle at The Happy Little Craft Show

WOW! What an incredible event. Seniors Eva Blumenfeld and Yuwei Pan headed out today to Webster University to represent SWAP and WIAD (We sold cookies :) at A Happy Little Craft Show 2018! The event was a great hit and especially important in promoting Fashion Sustainability in the St. Louis community at large. The public loved WUpcycle's designs by key contributors: Maggie Miller, Emma Rubinson, and SWAP's own Catherine Herlihy and Abbie Leonard.  These women greatly contributed to creating the inventory that made this event so successful for SWAP. 

Not only did the platform of the craft show provide a marketplace for our young designers, (many of whom are freshman), but it allowed us to engage with people of all ages about our mission of Zero Waste. Thank you so much to Mary Ruppert-Stroescu, our faculty advisor, and special shout out to Holly Schroeder for organizing and inviting us to participate!
